Cami Thompson has been painting since she was 13 years old (see Holy Family).
Her education at several universities in Michigan included fine arts and commercial arts courses. After a successful career as a fashion designer and craft kit entrepreneur, she decided in the mid-1990s to concentrate on oil painting. She has worked en plein air in Alaska, Colorado, and New Mexico.
“Love, Light and the Pursuit of Art”, Cami’s one woman exhibit at the Taos Art Museum at Fechin House, took place in 2014. Over the years her work has been shown in museums and galleries. Now available is a new venue for Cami’s work. Gorgeous giclee prints available through www.camiathompson.etsy.com
