Rendering animals and figures using my oil painting technique is fun for me. The Wildlife, the Native American dancers, the commissioned portraits, they all contain the elements that I use to convey light, movement, and depth of field. Gestural brush strokes work well for me as a painter. Whether building fur, fabric, skin or flower petals on the painting surface, one must always keep in mind the main objective. To draw the viewers eye into the overall design.
