Landscapes: Trees
I have always had a fascination with trees of all kinds. As a kid I was an avid tree climber and learned a lot about the different branches that make up certain trees. Covering the branches and twigs are leaves which can fool the observer into believing that they grow in different directions than they do. Observing trees without their foliage is important I’ve learned. In the case of evergreens one can follow the overall shape, but each type of tree has a unique character all its own. When I started putting the landscape into my wildlife work, trees I discovered are of utmost importance.
